Dejan: Key Account Manager
Dejan is wide awake early every morning. On the way to his desk he briefly discusses the last Eintracht game with his colleagues. Then his full attention is required: his client needs him. And not at his desk, but on site in the store. Dejan does not hesitate for long, packs up briefly and sets off straight away. As Key Account Manager he is the main contact person for three important QSL customers. “I am the face of QSL for my customers, so to speak,” he says. In his job, Dejan provides both operational and strategic advice. He always manages to quickly establish a personal relationship and open dialogue with his contact person. In this way, he helps his customers to optimize processes and sometimes becomes an emergency rescuer, for example if the customer has forgotten to order new goods in time. “Then all the threads come together here: Customer, purchasing, logistics and so on – but together we always find a solution…”. The acquisition of new customers is also one of Dejan’s tasks and so he never gets bored. “There is actually no such thing as a ‘normal’ daily routine. Nor is there a normal week. The challenges are so unique that they are always changing,” he laughs with satisfaction. Dejan has been with QSL since 2015. He started as an operational buyer, but when the position of key account manager was advertised, he didn’t hesitate for long: “I wanted to continue my education – to get ahead – and when that worked out, I was naturally very happy. That’s where QSL has always offered special opportunities”. For the future, Dejan wishes to take on even more customers, to maintain his good relationship with colleagues and to continue to grow with his customers and his company QSL.
